This is a picture of a good friend of the family Bill Burger. He not only was a good friend and lived next-door he was also in employee. This is a picture of him holding a keg of Haehnle beer! Every time I went over to the Haehnle house I would see him and he would give me and my brother Nate a 50 Cent piece! Bertha Burger was his wife and the secretary for quite awhile. She practically ran the brewery after Cap died.

A vintage Peninsular Brewery advertisement from the late 1800s. One of the earliest advertisements from Casper Haehnle 1. There is an old trade card with the same verbage.
